How to be Out of Touch 101

First of all, I like Rand Paul, but dude needs to be more PURPOSEFUL when speaking to the MSM and really think about WHO he is communicating to and WHAT is the takeaway.

Who says "parlor game" anymore? What the heck does THAT mean? What is a parlor? Seriously. No one talks like that anymore. Even Dictonary.com says it's "old fashioned". THINK!

PART 1
Who are you talking TO? WHO is your audience Rand?
“[I] think Democrats who think this is a parlor game, who think this is fun — here’s what the Democrats think. They think we’ll send a bunch of government workers out there to close off the roadside viewing of Mt. Rushmore because that will be funny, you know? So, I think it isn’t funny. And I think that Democrats and Republicans are going to catch blame.
You can be more forceful. You SHOULD be more exact. Get rid of the "I think" which disqualifies and puts your statement into a land of fiction rather than fact. Here's an example:
"The Democrats are playing games with our lives-- with AMERICAN lives. YOUR LIVES. We don't think this is a game. And they laugh about it."
PART 2:
"The President while denying benefits to fallen veteran families is ACTUALLY spending money to send government employees to BLOCK citizens -- you and me--from viewing our rightful heritage. The administration and Democrats because they refuse to negotiate, are saying to you that WE the GOVERNMENT, the President and Democrats own this land. Stay out! That's the message and if you don't believe me, just take a look at their actions. This land is YOUR land!"
PART 3: Quit the equal opportunity line.

There is no need for balance. Who cares? Don't equivocate. Stand for something. If you feel the urge to put Repubs with Dems to equalize and "appear" moderate. DON'T. Forget it. FIGHT. DEFINE them. Rinse & Repeat. Because no one else is showing them for what they are.
